Privacy Policy

The short version

Peak Week is built so that your data never leaves your devices. There is no account, we operate no servers, and we never receive a copy of your log. The App Store privacy label for Peak Week is “Data Not Collected”.

1. Information the app stores

Peak Week stores only what it needs to work:

  • Water and salt entries you log (amount, time, optional note)
  • Daily targets, peak week plans and competition dates you enter
  • Day notes (weight, fullness, pump, free text)
  • App settings such as presets, reminder window, units and appearance

All of this stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account. None of it is transmitted to us.

2. How the data is used

Your data is used solely to provide the app’s functionality: totals, pace, reminders, week overview, widgets and exports. We do not sell, share or rent any personal information.

3. Storage and iCloud sync

Data is stored locally in a SQLite database inside the app’s container, protected by the device’s built-in storage protection. Widgets and Control Center controls read the same database through an app group on your device.

iCloud sync is off by default and entirely opt-in. When you turn it on, your entries, targets, competitions and notes are stored in the private database of your own iCloud account, subject to Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. We have no access to it. Peak Week works fully offline without sync.

4. Sharing and exports

Share cards (image, PDF) and text exports are created only when you ask for them and go only to the recipients you choose through the system share sheet or the clipboard.

Siri and Shortcuts intents run locally on your device and only expose data to shortcuts you set up yourself.

5. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are requested only when you enable them. With iCloud sync enabled the app also receives silent push notifications from Apple’s CloudKit so changes on one device reach the other; these contain no personal data.

6. Analytics

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not collect usage data or telemetry.

This website may use privacy-friendly, cookie-less page analytics provided by our hosting platform to count visits. No personal data is stored.

7. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be removed from the app’s settings or through your iCloud account settings.

9. Your rights

You can view, export and delete all of your data at any time inside the app. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for you to request from us — you are always in direct control.

10. Health disclaimer

Peak Week is a log, not medical advice. Plan templates are generic starting points. Extreme water or sodium changes can be dangerous; set your numbers with a qualified coach or doctor.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a revised date.

12. Contact
